Univision KTVW 33/Phoenix Brings “Gifts of Hope” to Community these Holidays
Six hundred families will benefit from these donations
Phoenix, AZ -- This holiday season, KTVW Univision 33, with the help from its audience, will bring to 600 families in dire need a dose of happiness “Regalos de Esperanza” (Gifts of Hope). The campaign, which runs from November 25th to December 6th, is designed to enrich the holidays for families that have experienced extreme hardships during the year.
This Univision 33 campaign, in its fifth year, has helped more than 2,500 families of the Valley. “Regalos de Esperanza” consists of food baskets and toy bundles donated by clients of the station, which will be distributed among the 600 families that are chosen. Univision 33’s audience will help choose the families by writing a letter to the Saturday morning local show “Teledía” explaining why a particular family should receive “Un Regalo de Esperanza” (a “Gift of Hope”). Families that are nominated are not to be related to the audience member that is nominating them. Each selected family will receive a food basket and a toy bundle to share the hope of a happy holiday.
KTVW Univision 33 in Phoenix, along with the sponsors of this campaign, will distribute the baskets in a wonderful event where the selected families will be the guests of honor. Join Univision KTVW 33 in celebrating this holiday season sharing “gifts of hope” with those in need.
